Our Story

Status Solutions was born out of the belief that technology can prevent tragedy. After witnessing two of the most devastating events that defined the new millennium era – Columbine and 9/11 – Mike MacLeod created Status Solutions to put that belief into action.

Now, more than 20 years later, Status Solutions has improved the safety of thousands of communities with our marquee technologies, SARA, CATIE, and MIMI, which have processed and analyzed nearly 413 million alarms and monitored nearly 3 million devices. In the last 10 years alone, Status Solutions has grown the business reach by 22.6%, and our original commitment to safety remains at the core of everything we do.
